# 1.User Role Settings
Permission Settings is used to edit the permissions of project members in the current directory for the current project
Click the More Operations button in the line operation bar of the file directory, wait for the list of more operations to appear, and then click the *Settings button to enter the file directory settings pop-up window
Click on the permission settings tab page, click on the User Role Settings, and wait for the prompt message
项If project members do not specify roles, they will automatically inherit the roles of the higher-level directory
After a project member specifies a role, the project member uses that role in both this directory and its subdirectories
# 2、User Group Role Settings (Enterprise Edition)
User group role settings are a dedicated feature of HAPYTEAM Enterprise Edition, mainly used to maintain directory roles for project user groups
On the Permission Settings tab, click on the User Group Role Settings, click on the Edit User Group Corresponding Role, and wait for the prompt message
If the user group does not specify a role, it will automatically inherit the role of the higher-level directory
After a user group is assigned a role, the user group will use that role in both this directory and its subdirectories
